From a small, nurturing pre-nursery room to LKG and UKG, we believe in the Montessori principle: self-directed play, sensory exploration and real-world learning.
What is Montessori Education?
The Montessori method was developed by Dr. Maria Montessori in the early 1900s. Her first classroom experiment began in 1907 in Rome and showed that children learn best in a prepared environment where they can move, explore, choose, repeat, and reflect at their own pace.
At Lumen Garden, this philosophy becomes a playful, calm classroom culture. Montessori does not force a one-size-fits-all pace. Instead, we create real materials, practical life activities, and sensory-rich experiences so children build confidence while developing language, motor coordination, focus, and empathy.
Why it is better for kids
Children become active learners, developing deeper concentration and stronger decision-making.
Foundation for future readiness
Short Montessori cycles of concentrated activity improve emotional regulation and classroom readiness.
Built for the first 5 years
Early childhood is when habits, language, curiosity and social patterns form. Montessori protects that stage with intentional routines.
Parent partnership
Your child’s teachers share clear progress updates through practical milestones, behavior, and growth indicators.

A child’s brain changes rapidly from birth to age 5. Early development has a lasting impact on how they learn and grow. The quality of experiences in those years can positively or negatively shape their progress.

Dear Parents,
As the director, I warmly share our mission with you.
With 20 years of teaching experience, I have seen a recurring challenge — nearly 50% of new mothers step away from the workforce due to a lack of reliable childcare, and only about 27% are able to return. Lumen Garden was born as a practical answer to that problem.
Our mission is to create a trusted, safe, and joyful preschool environment where families can confidently leave their children with us, and parents can return to their professional goals.
In the first five years of life, children experience the most important period of brain and emotional development. A Montessori-inspired, child-centered culture at this age builds confidence, language, movement, focus, and social readiness for the future.
